We are the local unit of the Georgia Retired Educators Association (GREA).  GREA is the instrumental force fighting to protect out pensions and insurance benefits.  If you have not yet joined GREA, the form is on this web page.  When you join, your PREA dues ($15) are waived for the first year.  Our local unit meets bi-monthly at the First Baptist Church of Dallas.  We are dedicated to giving back to our community while enjoying the fellowship of other members. Our members serve their community and schools in a number of ways, but PREA has three humanitarian service projects in which all members can contribute.  They are:

• Paulding Helping Hands (both the food pantry and clothing/household items)
• Make-a-Wish Georgia
  
• Hiram High School (our school of the year).  September we will collect school supplies, November will be gift cards, January is for hygiene items, and March has yet to be determined.

Other than continuing Community Service, our concentration this year will be to safely enjoy each other's company and life.
